According to Fortune, shoe companies are finally getting around to releasing their first ever soles.
The footwear company has released a statement saying that they are finally “coming out of our closet” and that the soles will be released in late 2018.
The announcement comes as the soled shoes have been making headlines lately with celebrities like Ashton Kutcher endorsing the shoes and many other celebrities including Beyoncé, Kate Upton, and others pledging to buy the new footwear.
The soles have also been on the front of many fashion magazines recently, and many are predicting that the company will soon announce its first-ever shoe with soles made of polymer.
According to the shoe’s official press release, the first-of-its-kind soles were inspired by the solefied shoes worn by athletes who are working out to help them maintain their performance in competition.
The company says that the new soles “will help ensure that athletes will be ready to compete in the future, which will benefit all athletes.”
The soled shoe will come in two styles, and each style will include a leather upper and a leather outsole.
The brand says that soles with polyurethane are the “perfect choice for athletes who want a durable, comfortable and comfortable-to-wear alternative to traditional leather.”
According to Engadgets, the brand also offers “a variety of high-performance soles,” including “tour-style” and “performance-oriented” soles that are the first of their kind.
These new soled footwear will be the first to hit the market since the release of the Nike Flyknit, and the company is aiming to release a total of 40 pairs of the new sneakers in 2018.
